Weddings

When I first met Kyler and Marissa you could tell how much they loved each other. They were fun (and FUNNY!), lighthearted, and truly kind people. I’ve had such a great time getting to know them and working with them during their wedding.

Marissa is originally from Canada and met Kyler through a very unique circumstance 🙂 Kyler was working on some self-searching in college and ended up coming for a little while. While he was home he started helping his mom with her life coaching business. During this period, he ended up meeting a woman working through his mom’s mastermind named Jackie. After chatting with Kyler for a little while, Jackie said she had a friend in Canada that she thought would be perfect for Kyler! Kyler was in the midst of driving during the whole conversation and Jackie shoved her phone with a picture of Marissa in his face mid drive – and the rest they say, is history!

Kyler immediately thought Marissa was super cute, but had reservations about texting this stranger who lived in Canada. He sat on it a couple days and then finally decided to send the text that would change his and Marissa’s lives forever. BUT, this wasn’t just any “hey, what’s up?!” text.. oh no, Kyler did his homework and found out that he was planning to text Marissa on Canada Day, and he made sure to include that in his first text to her 🙂 I like to think that was the seal to the deal – because I mean, come on!

After that text the two started a whirl-wind long distance relationship and got engaged just 99 days after meeting. Because Marissa was in Canada, in there was a lot of paperwork and waiting and traveling back and forth from Canada and America between the two – but I think they would both agree that it was well worth the wait.

I’m so thankful that I was able to meet, work with, and get to know Kyler and Marissa and their friends and family. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Keeley!!
